and contains properties that dissolve, release and remove salt crystals
from any surface. Water alone will not remove salt. Use of Salt-Away
will not correct past damage but will protect against salt corrosion and
reduces costly repairs caused by salt. Salt-Away breaks apart and
removes salt accumulation with repeated use.

Salt-Away is designed to remove salt from nearly any surface. It can
safely be used on all metals, fiberglass, paint, rubber, plastic, chrome,
glass, concrete, brick or any surface exposed to salt. When mixed with
water, washes away the salt then leaves a protective film on surfaces
until surfaces are again exposed to water or salt. Special high-performing
corrosion inhibitors in the product help protect metals from corroding if
not rinsed off. Salt-Away will not strip wax or cause streaks or spots.

2014 Hyundai Equus Ultimate: Race Organizer Review

Thu, 10 Apr 2014

Welcome back to the Race Organizer Review series, in which I plunge new cars into the weird and demanding world of a traveling race official with the 24 Hours of LeMons road-racing series. A LeMons Race Organizer's ride must be able to haul large amounts of gear between airport, hotel, and track, while impressing the jaded and finicky racers in the paddock. So far, we've seen the Mini Cooper S Paceman in California, the Mitsubishi Lancer GT in Texas, the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution in Wisconsin, and the Chevrolet SS in Texas, and a couple of weeks ago your Race Organizer brought the 2014 Hyundai Equus Ultimate to Race Sonoma aka Sears Point in the upscale wine country of Northern California.

Aftermarket Car Plug-In Hybrid system developed (video)

Sun, 05 Aug 2012

The Department of Engineering Technology at the Middle Tennessee State University has developed a plug-in hybrid retro-fit system for cars. As hybrid cars show the world that we can get more miles to the gallon from fuel by adding in an electric motor to the mix (depending on just how that electricity is generated, of course), it was inevitable that aftermarket solutions would eventually surface. Now, the Department of Engineering Technology at the Middle Tennessee State University has popped up with what they claim is an after market plug-in hybrid system that can be added to just about any car and would cost – assuming it gets to market – around £2,000.
