Up for bids is a nice 10-piece Audi A4 BOSE speaker system! All 9 speakers are in good operating and cosmetic condition with only minor blemishes on both of the rear 6.5" woofers (pictured). One of the rear 6.5" woofers had a loose center cone and it was reinforced with resin. The other 6.5" woofer had a 2" tear in the outer cone that has also been repaired. Both blemishes do not affect the speakers operation and sound. This particular set was removed from the "Audi A4" models made between 1994-2001. This system features all of the door speakers, door tweeters, and 1 rear deck "woofers". All of the speakers also include the wire harness' so that they can be used in different car models. The amplifier powers all of the speakers. Each speaker is genuine BOSE. Here is the breakdown:

(1) Amplifier: P/N 8D0 035 225

Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) are creating a further 1,100 jobs in the Jaguar plant at Castle Bromwich to cope with anticipated demand. Last week we said we were expecting an announcement from Jaguar Land Rover about production at Castle Bromwich following a deal with Unions to secure new working practices. And this seems to be it.

A production version of the Ford B-Max mini-MPV will make its debut at next month's Geneva motor show – one year after the concept was announced. The production B-Max stays true to the 2011 concept, with the same lack of a B-pillar between the conventional front and sliding rear doors, which creates a 1,500mm aperture. We'll be interested to learn how this affects both weight and rigidity as well as how much real-world advantage it offers.

BMW 2.0 litre diesel in a MINI raises the prospect of a MINI John Cooper Works diesel [ad#ad-1] Just like every other car maker, MINI is trying to find a way to give their cars extra eco-kudos but still be able to deliver what their customers want. Hybrids, electric cars and other ‘eco-friendly’ options are one way to go, but diesels, with their extra torque and modern power, can deliver much of what a zippy little petrol unit can (even if they do lose some of the subtlety). So BMW are looking at ways to inject a little more economy in to the MINI Cooper, and if possible a little more power.
