Students graduating from the Northumbria University BA (Hons) Transportation Design course based in Newcastle in the north east of England have shown their work at an exhibition entitled ‘New Designers'. Held the Business Design Centre in Islington, north London, the exhibition featured a series of schools displaying various thesis projects from their Art and Design programs. Alfa Romeo is doing a little public relations work on YouTube today. The Italian brand is hyping the new 4C sports car that is scheduled to hit American shores later this year. The two-seater will run a 1.8-liter, direct-injected four-cylinder engine making 240 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque, paired with a six-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Jaguar North America, seeking to dispel lingering image problems and quell concerns about repair costs, is launching a free scheduled maintenance program for all 2011 models. The Jaguar Platinum Coverage program is a 5-year/50,000 mile new vehicle warranty with free scheduled maintenance, no-cost replacement of major wear-and-tear parts and 24/7 roadside assistance. Unlike Jaguar's previous free maintenance program, there is no cost for oil changes, filters, brake pads, brake discs, brake fluids and wiper blade inserts.
