Sun, 07 Aug 2011Production-ready 2012 Focus ST at Frankfurt. Or not? As the Frankfurt Motor Show looms closer, car makers are starting to reveal and tease their plans, and Ford sent us a press release this week promising a big presence at Frankfurt and a ‘Performance Focus’.

Wed, 13 May 2009New Vauxhall / Opel Astra revealed ahead of a launch at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September The Astra has been with us for 30 years, and this is the sixth generation to hit the showrooms. And it looks to be the best yet (as you would hope), with a cohesive style and loads of design cues taken from Vauxhall’s Insignia. This new Astra is built on the same platform as the much heralded Vauxhall Ampera (the Electric Car that will be the salvation of GM – once the technology is sorted) and as such offers a bigger wheelbase (up by 71mm) on a 4.4 meter (14′ 4″) body, with a wider track, which should make the Astra a better drive.
Mercedes-Benz Citan
Fri, 03 Feb 2012Mercedes-Benz has released these images of its new urban delivery van, the Citan. The small panel van moves Mercedes-Benz into a hotly contested section of the market, against established rivals such as the Volkswagen Caddy and Ford Transit Connect. The Citan will be available in a variety of body configurations from the two-seat version shown in the sketches to a crewbus, as well as a variety of options of both length and weight.
