'Father of the iPod' Tony Fadell joins Autoweek Design Forum

Join Autoweek as we present top designers from inside and outside the auto industry during the 2012 Autoweek Design Forum. This year's event, themed "Designing for Today's Consumer," features presentations by: -- Max Wolff, Design Director, Lincoln -- Clay Dean, Director, North America Advanced Design, and Cadillac Brand Champion, Cadillac -- Peter Schreyer, Chief Design Officer, Kia -- Peter Horbury, Senior Vice President, Design, Geely Group -- Tony Fadell, Founder and CEO, Nest, and "Father of the iPod" The Design Forum will be held at the College for Creative Studies A. Alfred Taubman Center for Design Education in Detroit.

XFR Jag the fastest ever

They took with them the usual holiday toys, but they remembered to pack a nice new Jaguar XFR, with a few mods necessary to run at Bonneville (roll cage, fire extinguishers, etc). They had a little fiddle with the ECU to derestrict it (and yield 600bhp) but, it is claimed, made no further mods apart from adding a spoiler at the back to stop the XFR taking off on the Salt Flats’ wide open spaces. Jaguar F-Type: New interior photos

We have new photos of the interior of the Jaguar F-Type and extra exterior pictures ahead of its debut tomorrow. There’s not going to be a huge amount for Jaguar to reveal when they debut the new F-Type tomorrow. We had a single photo leak last week, and this week we’ve had price and performance information on the F-Type too.
