Please understand that DSP amplifiers are coded directly to your BMW's audio system. When replacing amplifier it is very common practice to need to program or code the amplifier to your vehicle for best function. A sign that your car needs to be coded is if the sound turns off after 30 seconds. This does not mean the amplifier is faulty!! Coding can be done in 15 minutes by an independent BMW mechanic or BMW dealership.
