Good rebuilder.
Brand:CARTER Other Part Number:BUY AMERICAN Manufacturer Part Number:D6P2 Country/Region of Manufacture:United States

Offered is a Good Used/Core/Rebuilder Carter Ball and Ball Model One Barrel Carburetor, list D6P2, installed on 1949-1952 Chrysler vehicles.

I disassembled this carburetor, removed some of the old gaskets and checked for internal corrosion and damage, finding none. One of the holes for the screws to hold the airhorn to the main body has the threads stripped, pictured.

All of the linkage and accessories appear to be there, except for one small spring clip missing to hold a piece of linkage in place. The throttle and choke valves open and close freely, the idle mixture screw turns freely.

The carb will obviously need to be cleaned and a new kit or gaskets installed.

The most common danger is outstanding finance, with one in four cars still having debt attached to them. A new buyer could be liable for all outstanding finance and if he or she can’t pay it, the car could be reclaimed with no compensation.
