I'm selling a used Chevy Turbo 400 Automatic Transmission. I purchased this transmission from a friend several years ago with the intentions of it going into a future project, but those plans are not going to happen. When I purchased the tranny it was not in a vehicle for me to test drive so I do not know how many miles are on it, but I was told it did work but I do not know how well. The fluid in the pan is still bright red and does not smell burnt. The transmission has sat in my garage for quite a few years so I would have to say the seals would need replacing. I personally would go through it to freshen everything up  before installation into a vehicle. If your looking for a tranny to rebuild for a project then this would be a good one to purchase. Due to its weight I'm offering a pick up option to the buyer to help save on shipping costs. Also I would be willing to meet at a half way point to drop it off depending on distance. If the buyer is interested in having it shipped, please see shipping calculator below to calculate a cost to your area. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me via my ebay account. Thanks for viewing my listing.

One Lap of the Web: Bugatti state of mind

Fri, 21 Mar 2014

-- Last week, we looked at the new Bugatti exhibit at the Mullin Museum, which taught us more about Bugatti in an afternoon than the last three years of idly flipping through Pebble Beach programs. Having thus immersed ourselves in the House That Ettore Built, we'd really like to drive to work in a faithful Type 35 replica by the aptly named Pur Sang, which Mark Dixon of Octane drove for his 140-mile commute. "You need to keep the revs up while the engine clears its throat and warms its plugs," he writes.

MAZDA5 RESIDUAL PERFORMANCE IS 'BEST KEPT SECRET'

Thu, 10 Oct 2013

A NEW diesel version of the Mazda5 MPV has stormed onto the market with the best residuals in its class. Used car valuation expert CAP has described the 1.6-litre diesel model as a "best kept secret" and has predicted that the Sport model will retain 32 per cent of its value after three-years and 60,000-miles. The TS2 model also performs extremely well, with a 31 per cent retained value predicted.
