THIS CAME IN A NON RUNNING CAR SO I HAD A REPUTABLE TRANNY SHOP INSPECT IT AND EVERYTHING CHECKED OUT GOOD AND IS WORKING. I HAD NEW SEALS PUT IN THE FRONT AND REAR. I DID HAVE O DO A LITTLE WELD REPAIR BY THE TRANSMISSION MOUNTING BOLTS. NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT. THIS HAS 3 GROOVES ON THE FRONT SPLINE WHICH MEANS IT IS A WIDE RATIO 2.64 FIRST GEAR TRANSMISSION. Green three-wheelers may get Energy Department funding
Fri, 02 Oct 2009Aptera Motors, Elio Motors and other companies developing fuel-efficient three-wheeled vehicles got a boost from Congress this week in their quest for federal funding. Legislation to make three-wheeled vehicles eligible for Energy Department loans passed a conference committee of House and Senate leaders Wednesday and then got approval from the full House on Thursday. It is part of an energy spending bill likely to go before the Senate by next week for final congressional passage, a Senate aide said.
