The SHP Ford Block is tailored to the most popular performance and racing applications. The valley is machined to accept factory roller lifter guides and retainer (spider). The Ford SHP block is the perfect block for those looking to get more out of their motor than a stock block can provide.
Features:
- Brand new precision machined cast iron block.
- Scalloped outer water jacket walls improve coolant flow around the cylinder barrels to equalize temperatures.
- Priority main oiling system directs oil to the main bearings first for more dependable lubrication.
- Provisions for OE roller lifters, dog bones and spider.
- Siamese bores 4.000"  with extra thick cylinder walls.
- Extra thick decks ensure reliable head gasket seal.
- Blind tapped head bolt holes prevent water leaks.
- Steel 4 bolt main caps on #2, 3 and 4 with splayed outer bolts. 2 bolt main caps on #1 and 5.

-IN STOCK ITEMS- Ship no later than the second business day after receiving cleared payment.  All short or long block engines take approximately 30 days to be built and ship.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES:
Custom Performance Racing accept returns of unused, uninstalled, brand new goods, but we must charge a restocking fee of 25% to cover the costs we incur from eBay, Paypal, shipping, labor, etc. We also must charge a 25% restocking fee on any order which is cancelled after payment has been received, even if that order has not shipped. This is also to help cover the fees associated with eBay, PayPal, order processing, restocking, etc. If you would like to return or exchange an item please email us with your paypal or authorize.net transaction id # and the reason for the return or exchange.
No returns are accepted without an RMA number which is given to the customer by 
Custom Performance Racing via email. Always have the RMA number clearly written on multiple sides of the package when you return the item. If it is not clearly written on multiple sides of the box it may be returned to sender. All returns must be received within 30 days of purchase.

When the time came to replace it, Fiat went back to Bertone, where chief designer Marcello Gandini was charged with designing its replacement. Not happy to simply recreate the 850, he began with a whole new layout by placing the engine directly in front of the rear axle for a mid-engined layout.
