The Yaris HSD, as presented in Geneva, previews Toyota's intentions of bringing Hybrid technology to the B-Segment, as well as Toyota's full hybrid roll out across all models in its range. Retaining the familiar Yaris outwardly appearance (and previewing the next generation Yaris) the HSD is interspersed with ‘Hybrid' cues, to intimate at the hybrid powertrain beneath the body. From the pearl white paint to the light blue hue that illuminates certain aspects, there is an underlying emphasis on the fact that this car is a hybrid.

2014 Mitsubishi i-MiEV receives $6,130 price cut

If you thought that pure-electric cars were still too expensive to make sensible alternatives to gas or diesel cars, Mitsubishi is about to deal another blow to that notion. The electric powered i-MiEV is coming back to the U.S. for the 2014 model year, and Mitsubishi has slashed $6,135 dollars off the price.

Chevrolet TrailBlazer debuts at Dubai international motor show

The Chevrolet TrailBlazer made its return on Thursday at the Dubai international motor show. The show vehicle is a precursor to the production version but is very similar, according to General Motors. The seven-passenger TrailBlazer looks a lot like GM's recent SUV and crossover entries, with a rounded body, curved headlight housings and LED accents.
