This is a pair of Edelbrock heads for 1939 to 1948, 24-stud Ford flatheads. One of these heads shows no signs of use the other doesn't look like it ever was used either but has some corrosion from sitting on a motor without a gasket apparently. I do not know the exact history. They were on a flathead motor that I purchased some years ago and were just loosely bolted to the block. The motor had never run with these heads. The one head will require some repair and the pair would be good candidates for a big valve, big bore, or blown motor where you would relieve around the valves and polish the combustion chambers. They're stamped with 8.5 compression ratio. Please don't buy these if you are expecting to bolt them on and go. If you want to experiment with modifying these heads I think they're just the ticket at a third of the price of a new pair.

Lotus Evora Freddie Mercury Edition We really weren’t too sure when we got a press release drop in that said “Another Lotus Bites The Dust…” and then went on to say that Lotus are building a one-off Lotus Evora S Freddie Mercury Edition to be auctioned for the Mercury Phoenix Trust. We thought it was a spoof. We decided it was almost certainly a spoof when the press release went on to say that the Freddie Mercury Edition Evora “…represents a kind of magic” and that the white, red and gold colour scheme was “…inspired by the iconic costume Freddie wore for the 1986 Magic tour”.

Lamborghini Gallardo replacement touted for Frankfurt motor show debut

September's Frankfurt motor show will see Lamborghini cap its 50th anniversary celebrations with a new concept car. The concept previews Lamborghini's upcoming replacement, sources close to the Italian supercar maker said. Rumor has it the car will be called the Lamborghini Cabrera.
