Up for sale is a Edelbrock 1405 Carburetor it was used for about a year and on half on my 1969 F100 , I recently had the motor bored and built up more. I have no use for the carb because i am going to upgrade. Due to the fact i was running this on my Big Block i made some changes to the factory metering rods and jets. If you are not familiar with this carb new they run $260-290 here are some stock specifications
- 600 CFM
- Manual Choke ( you will need to connect your pull choke that runs inside the vehicle )
- 4 Barrel
- Square Bore Carburetor Flange (intake has a square bore NOT a SPREAD BORE which appears kidney bean shaped)
- Single fuel feed inlet
- Metering Jets – Primary .100, Secondary .095
- Metering Rods – .070 x .047
- Includes both timed and full vacuum ports for ignition advance
- Richer Main Jets Part # 1430--- .104 and Metering Rod # 1456--- 073 x 047 (these are currently installed the stock Jets/Rods are also included)
- Mr. Gasket Fuel Pressure Gauge on fuel inlet with 3/8" hose fitting
- Edelbrock throttle kit added on for ford throttle linkage (why the throttle linkage looks bulky)
