Volvo V40 range gets new Drive-E engines

From May this year Volvo will update its V40 model, equipping the premium Swedish hatchback with its range of high-efficiency Drive-E engines and Volvo’s latest eight-speed automatic gearbox. This means the revised V40 line-up now offers an impressive performance to efficiency ratio, with 190hp on offer in the D4 turbodiesel variant, returning a claimed 74.3mpg combined with 99g/km CO2 when mated to the six-speed manual. Ferrari F150 / F70: Details confirmed

Ferrari has confirmed more details of the Enzo successor – the Ferrari F70 / F70 – in the Ferrari Magazine and their web site. As we’ve already reported today that the McLaren P1′s design is almost the same as the concept P1, we thought we should also report on the latest news on the McLaren’s biggest rival – the Ferrari F70 / F150 – now Ferrari has confirmed more detail. Most of what Ferrari has revealed on their web site (and in the latest edition of the Ferrari Magazine) has already been speculated upon, but now we know from the (prancing) horse’s mouth some of the technical details, as well as the look of the new Ferrari from the recent tease of the F70/F150.

Caterham 620R (2013) first official pictures

Caterham will launch its most hardcore road-going Seven ever at the 2013 Goodwood motor show. Called the 620R, the new range-topper develops 310bhp, and will hit 60mph in 2.79sec, making as fast as an a 691bhp Lamborghini Aventador. The 620R replaces the R500 in Caterham's range, and costs £49,995.
