For over 30 years, Fireboy has been the most trusted name in on-board clean agent fire protection. Fireboy fire systems are specifically designed for protecting enclosures up to 1500 (MA systems) cubic feet, such as engine rooms on boats. Each system is armed for around-the-clock fire protection. When 175°F (79°C) is reached, the extinguisher will automatically discharge, releasing the clean agent gas to totally flood the entire space, smothering the fire In addition to the peace of mind that comes from installing a Fireboy system, many insurance providers offer a discount for boaters with an on-board fixed fire extinguisher system. Tue, 15 May 2012Lamborghini Urus to get twin turbo V8 Lamborghini’s R&D Directror, Maurizio Reggiani, says the Lamborghini Urus will use a twin turbo V8 and weigh only 2,000kg. The Lamborghini Urus – Lambo’s new SUV offering – took the stage at the Geneva Motor Show in March and, although it received mixed reviews, is certainly heading for production. But the SUV we saw at Geneva is a long way of the real deal; nothing more than a shell to give the world a peek of how the Urus will look.

Wed, 28 Jul 2010The SEAT Ibiza ST 2011 Back in February in the run up to the Geneva Motor Show SEAT sent us details of their diminutive estate, the SEAT Ibiza Sport Tourer (ST) which bowed in at Geneva shortly after. It’s taken six months to get to this point, but the Ibiza ST is now going on sale in the UK with a starting point of £12,075.00. For that you get the Ibiza ST 1.4 litre S which, despite being the starting point for the ST, comes equipped with AirCon, MP3 compatible CD with aux and steering wheel mounted controls. Top of the tree for now at least is the Ibiza ST 1.2 TDI CR Ecomotive SE which will set you back £14,910.
Lotus Exige S Roadster Official: Price (£52,800) and Specs
Wed, 22 May 2013It’s the first properly good news from Lotus for a while, and looks a promising offering at the same price (£52,800) as the tin top Exige S and, remarkably for a convertible, actually weighing less than the hard top – although by only 10kg. The Exige S Roadster gets the same 3.5 litre V6 as the coupe which means 345bhp, 295lb/ft of torque and a 0-60mph of a very respectable 3.8 seconds, but it does lose the coupe’s rear wing and front splitter for better airflow. The folding roof on the Roadster is a manual affair, but Lotus say fresh air motoring is just ‘Two clicks and a roll away’, so the manual roof is probably the best – and lightest – option.
