THIS AUCTION IS FOR 8 FOLLANSBEE SERIES 2 FLANGED, BLOWMOLDED FLOAT DRUMS MADE OF HIGH MOLECULAR WEIGHT POLYETHYLENE. THESE DRUMS ARE UV STABLE, GAS/OIL RESISTANT, HAVE HIGH IMPACT STRENGTH AND ARE EXTREMELY DURABLE. AND THEY WILL NOT CRACK OR WARP FROM TEMPERATURE EXTREMES AS LOW AS 20 DEGREES F. THESE DRUMS MEET ARMY CORP OF ENGINEERS AND EPA REQUIREMENTS. THEY ARE FILLED WITH EXPANDED CLOSED CELL POLYSTYRENE (EPS) FOAM FOR PERMANENT BOUANCY. DIMENSIONS ARE 24" W x 48" L x 12" H. I USED THESE DRUMS ON A TEMPORARY DOCK THAT WAS ONLY IN THE WATER A SHORT TIME. CONDITION IS EXCELLENT. AND AT LESS THAN HALF THE PRICE OF NEW DRUMS, THEY ARE A BARGAIN.

Earlier this week we had a tease for the BMW Zagato Roadster, a soft-top version of the BMW Zagato Coupe we saw just a few months ago at Villa D’Este, and now we get the real deal with a reveal at Pebble Beach.

The Automotive Press Association (APA) Design Panel is the first of several milestones in the annual Michelin Challenge Design (MCD) calendar of events. In keeping with the 2015 MCD Theme of Drive Your Passion: Engaging Senses, Soul and Emotion, this year's panel discussion focused the importance of passion in vehicle design in the high-tech, highly-constrained future. Hosted on 7 May 2014 at the Detroit Athletic Club, over 80 people attended the APA members-only event sponsored by Michelin Challenge Design.

We always aim to highlight as many college exhibitions as possible, but with so many graduating students each year, it's not surprising some are taking the promotion of their work into their own hands. The transportation and automotive design students at Coventry University have done just that by setting up a Tumblr highlighting the development of the final projects we'll see towards the end of May. The quality and variety of work looks very promising, especially considering they're some way from finished.
