THE 427 HIGH RISER ENGINE WAS INTRODUCED IN 1964 FOR USE IN THE THUNDER BOLT AND LIGHTWEIGHT GALAXIES. THIS PARTICULAR HIGH RISER IS BASED ON A SIDE OILER BLOCK THAT WAS STANDARD BORE, NOW .017 OVER WITH ARIAS DOME PISTONS, EAGLE RODS ON A FORD STEEL CRANK AND FEATURES A SOLID ROLLER CAM SHAFT AND STAINLESS VALVES. THE BLOCK IS A FORD SERVICE BLOCK.
THIS ENGINE HAS BEEN BEAUTIFULLY DETAILED FOR INSTALLATION IN A 1966 OR 1967 FORD GALAXIE OR FAIRLANE WITH FORD BLUE COLOR, PENT ROOF VALVE COVERS AND DIMPLED 427 AIR BREATHER. IT ALSO INCLUDES THE CORRECT BELTS, HOSES, PLUG WIRES, AC FUEL PUMP, DUAL PORT OIL FILTER ADAPTER, (HUMP) BELL HOUSING, 11.5"X1-3/8" 3 FINGER CLUTCH AND CORRECT BIG INPUT CLUTCH FORK. Ahead of that, BMW has already given us plenty of the specs for both the 2014 M3 and M4. They include the arrival of a new 3.0 litre turbo engine for the M3 and M4 offering 424bhp and 369lb/ft of torque – more than the old 4.0 litre petrol could muster – attached to a manual gearbox as standard with a tweaked seven-speed dual-clutch auto as an option.

But if he makes the deadline, just a few units of the 4C limited-edition coupe would be on sale. Alfa's full return is now planned in mid-2013, about a half-year later than Marchionne's most recent timetable, with a compact crossover.
