Item Description

This auction is for a pair of 460 exhaust manifolds removed from a 1976 Lincoln.  They are very solid with no cracks.  These manifolds are for carbureted engines only.  Also, these are not compatible with every chassis.

The connection between the manifold and pipe does not have a gasket.  The pipe is flared and directly bolts to the manifold.  This area is shown in the final two pictures.

Design Contest: Stile Italiano Giovani 2004

Fri, 22 Oct 2004

One of the sad things about being editor of a motoring magazine is turning down all the enthusiastic young job applicants who know exactly how to test Ferraris against Lamborghinis, using Porsches as benchmarks...exactly the kind of people I don't need. I imagine it might be the same with judging a design competition. There will be masses of young people who love drawing cars submitting their sketches - and there it all ends.

Video shows Audi R18 'long tail' e-tron quattro's blistering Monza run

That's how they keep devising road-going spaceships like the staggeringly fast R18 e-tron quatto equipped with a “long tail” aerodynamic package. This quick video of the “long tail” hybrid testing at Monza gives us a preview of what we can expect at Spa next month -- and hints at what we'll see at Le Mans in June.

Color & trim focus: Six of Poltrona Frau’s auto collaborations

Thu, 22 May 2014

Collaborations between the car industry and the world of product design are fraught with difficulties, are usually fleeting and all too often end in (marketing department) tears. One of the few possible exceptions is Italian leather and furniture company Poltrona Frau. Its 102-year history includes the 904 ‘Vanity Fair' chair from 1930 and the more-recent 2009 Archibald chair by Jean-Marie Massaud.
