This is a Ford Motorcraft (autolite) 2100 carburetor with the 1.21 venturi. The throttle linkage, idle mixture screws, choke linkages moves. It will need a kit installed, (and obviously a good cleaning). The Tag is D4AE EA, and this one has an electric choke. No prizes for guessing they're black and laced with carbonfibre trinkets. The Carbon Black Edition V12 Vantage and DBS are coated with black metallic paint that takes 50 man-hours to apply, says Aston.
Jaguar Land Rover profits up 34 per cent to £1.5 billion
Tue, 29 May 2012Just four years after Tata took over what looked like a basket case in Jaguar Land Rover, profits have hit £1.5 billion. It’s become the norm for Jaguar Land Rover to report ever improving profits and sales, but the news that JLR made profits of £1.5 billion in the year to end of March 2012 is still amazing. Ford sold Jaguar and Land Rover to Tata four years ago as it unwound its faltering luxury car brands, and as recently as 2009 JLR were almost begging for government help to keep going.
World Car of the Year 2014 – the contenders

Each candidate for the main awards must be available for sale on at least two continents. In addition to the main category, the World Car – or WCOTY – awards also includes separate prizes for the World Car Design of the Year, World Green Car and World Luxury Car, the last a change from the World Performance Car of previous years.
