Fuel Filter, Glass Bowl, AC logo - 1957 thru 59 Pontiac - AC GF48P  

This is an extremely rare reconditioned original glass bowl fuel filter manufactured by AC/Delco as their part number GF48P.  This style filter was original equipment on 1957 thru 59 Pontiac passenger cars without air conditioning.  What makes this unit so rare is the large inlet and outlet size. The more popular units had 1/8" pipe threads where this unit has 1/4" pipe thread. The is the version with the "AC" logo on the end of the cover over the outlet.  You are bidding on one filter assembly with new element. Domestic Buyers to pay $8.00 shipping.  Payment must be made by check or Paypal within 10 days of auction close.

A production version of the Ford B-Max mini-MPV will make its debut at next month's Geneva motor show – one year after the concept was announced. The production B-Max stays true to the 2011 concept, with the same lack of a B-pillar between the conventional front and sliding rear doors, which creates a 1,500mm aperture. We'll be interested to learn how this affects both weight and rigidity as well as how much real-world advantage it offers.

Chevrolet saves sinkhole Corvettes

CHEVROLET has taken on the job of restoring a number of classic Corvettes which were swallowed by a gaping sinkhole beneath the National Corvette Museum in Kentucky. General Motors' head of global product development, Mark Reuss, said today that the damaged vehicles are some of the most significant in motoring history. He said the company wants to restore as many of them as possible so car fans can enjoy them.
