This is a reconditioned original glass bowl fuel filter manufactured by AC/Delco as their part number GF48 and GM part number 854444.  This style filter was original equipment Chevrolet 1962 and newer as well as other passenger cars.  The is the version with the "AC" logo on the end of the cover.  I'm quite sure this unit was also used on many others vehicles other than GM.
