4. You can also use the sticker on something else, such as your laptop, pad, suitcase, door, etc. Instruction: The vinyl graphics come with three layers. A masking layer on top to protect the vinyl, a middle layer which is the vinyl decal itself and then a third layer on the back to protect the adhesive. The first, make sure that the surface you are sticking it to is totally clean. Second, lift the graphic out from the surface and remove the paper layer that is protecting the adhesive. Take care not to touch the sticky part of the graphic to the surface yet or it will be stuck for good! Next, slowly begin lowering the graphic onto the surface, working from the top down. Use a squeegee to smooth it onto the surface. Do not put the whole graphic on the surface at once. Instead, work slowly and methodically from the top to the bottom ensuring that each portion is smooth and free of wrinkles or bubbles. Then, remove masking layer slowly and carefully, do not lift the layer straight up off the graphic. Instead, pull it back gently parallel to the surface to prevent lifting the vinyl graphic up off the surface. Pull low and slowly. Now, you should have a vinyl graphic or sticking installed that looks great and is wrinkle and bubble free.

College Exhibition: IED Fiat/Chrysler project
Fri, 13 Nov 2009Second year students at the Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) in Turin, Italy, recently completed a Fiat/Chrysler sponsored project, which began in February 2009. Conceived as a didactic exercise to think about the recent alliance between Fiat and Chrysler, 37 students were asked to design a vehicle capable of combining the technical know-how, platforms and values of both brands in order to generate interesting and competitive new products for the European and the American markets. In creating their concepts, students were asked to take into account the style, economic accessibility and the low environmental impact of Fiat vehicles as well as the new platforms and major industrial and production capacity afforded by the Italian automaker's alliance with the Chrysler brand.

Wed, 25 Aug 2010The Drink Drive Limit safe - for now Having already criminalised a huge swathe of the motoring population of the UK by sticking endless ‘Safety’ Cameras anywhere they will catch drivers unaware and rake in huge fines, it seemed the Con-Dems were about to emulate the last administration’s actions on motorists and move to a stupidly low drink drive alcohol limit to try and criminalise the handful of motorists the speed cameras hadn’t already nabbed. Earlier this summer a quango report – lead by ‘Expert’ Sir Peter North – declared that the UK’s drink drive limit should be lowered from the current 80mg of alcohol per 100ml of blood to 50mg – less than a pint for most people. In our risk averse, nanny-state, ‘elf ‘n’ safety obsessed world it seemed a dead cert that the UK would adopt a lower limit – as the report recommended - in line with much of Europe.

Sat, 16 Aug 2014The McLaren P1 GTR track monster is revealed at Pebble Beach McLaren has taken the covers of the McLaren P1 GTR at Pebble Beach (after a tease last month) to demonstrate its design and intent ahead of production in 2015, and it certainly seems to tick all the boxes. Being built just for the track – with no need to comply with road regulations – McLaren are able to produce a car that re-writes track performance, with a focus on a bit more power – 1000PS (986bhp) – and a lot more handling prowess. The P1 GTR gets an 80mm increase in its front track, new front splitter and a set of slicks on 19″ forged wheels with centrelock hubs.
