Item Description: This is a NOS (New Old Stock) Bosch EPS-100 injector tester. What you see in the photos below is what you will receive. Click here  for PDF spec sheet.

Compared to the predecessor model EFEP 60H, due to better dial reading accuracy (1 bar), and improved manometer measuring accuracy, the possible overall measuring inaccuracy has improved on the EPS 100 from ±4 bar to ±2.4 bar. This means that even the most minute leaks can be analyzed and prevented so that the possibility of engine shake at idle can be ruled out. Design improvements have resulted in the inner leakage of the EPS 100 being considerably lower than that of the EFEP 60H.This has the advantage that within the framework of leakage testing on two-spring nozzle holders and unit injectors etc., the generated pressure does not drop.

The Bosch Nozzle Tester is a highly versatile unit:
    • Testing and adjustment of injection-nozzle opening pressure
    • Assessment of the injection spray regarding shape and atomization (injection-spray image)
    • Checking for leaks in injection nozzles, and checking the chatter properties on two-spring nozzle holders, stepped nozzle holders, and UI/UP applications.

Project Car Hell, Fix It Again (and Again and Again) Tony Edition: 124 Sport Spider or Strada?

Fri, 04 Apr 2014

Is it possible for a car to be too horrible even for Project Car Hell? Given the fact that, in the past, we've made you choose between a Hurricane Sandy-immersed Aston Martin Lagonda and a similarly flooded GAZ-21 Volga, you might think the answer to that question would be an emphatic no. Why, even last week we threatened you with eternal Simca damnation!

Bentley SUV (Falcon) to be built in Slovakia?

Wed, 20 Mar 2013

Bentley says it has 2000 pre-orders for the Bentley Falcon SUV and that it is possible the Bentley won’t be built in Crewe but in Bratislava. January’s news was that the Bentley SUV was close to being signed-off for production (we’ve heard that once or twice) and in February we learnt that Bentley have gone back to the drawing board to produce a new design under the watchful eye of Luc Donckerwolke, Bentley’s Chief Designer, which we expect to be a more dynamic one with cues from the Continental, rather than a square truck with Mulsanne headlights. So now it’s time for the March instalment of ‘Bentley SUV News‘, and we have Bentley boss Wolfgang Schreiber telling us that Bentley already has 2,000 pre-orders for their SUV (we’re guessing ‘expressions of interest’ may be closer to the truth) before the new design is shown, and before Bentley has decided whether they want to pitch their SUV just above the new Range Rover at around £150k, or do what Bentley dealers want which is a Bentley SUV costing north of £200k.

Posh car 'pushes up house prices'

Wed, 14 May 2014

HAVING a posh car in the driveway can push up property prices, according to a survey. As many as a third of people reckon having a luxury motor outside their home can add to the value of their house, the poll by car rental company Avis found. Around a third of the 2,000 adults surveyed also thought a flash car would help sell a property.
