Woman ticketed for driving with Google Glasses
Sun, 03 Nov 2013A Californian woman is thought to be the first ever motorist to receive a ticket for driving while wearing ‘Google Glass’ computer spectacles. Cecilia Abadie was written up under a state law banning drivers from watching TV behind the wheel, which the officer in question believed Ms Abadie’s transgression fell under. Infiniti Q50 Revealed: 2013 Detroit Auto Show
Mon, 14 Jan 2013The new Infiniti Q50 – replacing the G37 and the first of Infiniti’s ‘Q’ badged cars – has been revealed at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show. The Q50 is still unmistakably an Infiniti – but a better looking one – with the trademark curves and grill still intact but with a bit of added oomph from a new look inspired by the Infiniti LE Concept we saw in New York last spring. The Infiniti Q50 is both longer and wider than the old G37 – lower too – and a lot slippier, with a drag coefficient of just 0.26 thanks to the sleeker bodywork and lower stance.
Saab facing bankruptcy – again
Wed, 13 Aug 2014Saab are facing bankruptcy once more. Saab has not had a happy history, certainly since it was swallowed up by GM and pushed in to building Saabs with GM underpinnings. Then, in the midst of the bankruptcy of GM, Saab went through a circus of possible owners before GM sold Saab out to Spyker, but Spyker couldn’t make a go of things and they too went bankrupt.
