The Garmin product brochure states:  The GARMIN GTX 330 transponder provides the U.S. market with datalink expandability, including enabled services such as ADS-B and local traffic updates.

This full-featured, TSO certified transponder brings a unique level of functionality and utility to an airplane. The solid state transmitter provides 250 watts nominal power output and eliminates the need for a cavity tube which, sooner or later, will fail and require expensive replacement. And since the transponder’s design is 100 percent solid state, there’s no warm up time, lower power consumption and much lower heat emission. All of which translates to a longer service life.

Some of the GTX 330’s biggest features are the easiest to see. Among them, the easy-reading DSTN Liquid Crystal Display which reverses the numbers out of black for optimal viewing. An innovative keypad makes entering a squawk code a snap. And a dedicated VFR button allows for quick and easy 1200/VFR squawking.

The GTX 330 also offers several timing and display functions: flight time, count-up timer, count-down timer or current pressure altitude. Other features include remote ident and auto standby.

Economy shipping to continental US destinations is free, I'll ship elsewhere or provide expedited shipping at cost.

Pagani Huayra gets 1200w Sonus Faber Sound – and a HUGE price rise

Sun, 03 Mar 2013

The Pagani Huayra is getting a 1200w Sonus Faber Sound System – Pagani’s big news for Geneva 2012 – and a huge price increase too. We did wonder, just briefly, if Pagani’s tease for something new at Geneva 2013 would be the Huayra Raodster. But we were soon steered away from that thought when Pagani released a second teaser for their news which made it pretty clear that the big news was all about a new Sound System option for the Huayra from Sonus Faber.

Sat, 20 Jul 2013

The BMW 4 Series M Performance Parts have been revealed (pictured) The new BMW 4-Series Coupe may not have arrived in BMW showrooms yet, but that hasn’t stopped BMW showcasing how you can spend extra money on your new 4-Series with a range of M Performance accessories. So when you do go and spec up your new 4-Series you’ll also be able to tick some of the boxes on the M Performance Accessories list for your dealer to fit when your car arrives for delivery and (almost) turn it in to an imitation M4 Coupe if you wish. Probably the biggest seller will be the showy stuff, like the M-Performance body kit which adds a lower front bumper with carbon fibre splitter and bigger air intakes, bigger sills, new back bumper with diffuser and ducts, carbon fibre spoiler at the back, dark chrome trim and carbon fibre door mirror caps.
