Saab's plan to become a successful indy car maker

Saab is in the process of separating from GM, as part of the seismic restructuring underway at the car maker previously known as the world's biggest. The company, based in Gaydon, Warwickshire, said it today launched a consultation with the unions to cut 300 permanent jobs and 300 temporary posts – out of a total of 1850 employees.
