Geely's new Shanghai design studio at the center of four-studio operation
Thu, 27 Mar 2014Geely Group's new central Shanghai Design Center is the global hub of its four-studio design operations. The facility on Guozhan Road, Pudong New District was formerly the site of the Central American Union Pavilion during the 2010 Shanghai EXPO and was chosen for its potential for growth despite its downtown location. The 3,800 square meter studio will be home to around 110 staff – both local and international – over the coming months, as part of the company's ongoing recruitment drive as it strives to be seen as one of the leading Chinese players.

Mon, 04 Aug 2014Aston Martin V12 Vantage S Roadster Pebble Beach debut With Pebble Beach looming this month we’ll be getting plenty of high-end debuts and expensive four-wheeled works of art art to drool over. We’ve already had the news that Jaguar Land Rover will be debuting 3 cars from the new Special Operations Division – the Range Rover Sport SVR, Jaguar F-Type Project 7 and Jaguar Lightweight E-Type – and now we learn Aston Martin will have a couple of treats for Pebble visitors too. The debut of the Aston Martin you can buy at Pebble will be the new Aston Martin V12 Vantage S Roadster.

Thu, 25 Apr 2013But as Land Rover has decided they are ready to make the specifications and prices for the new Range Rover official, it seems only fair to do a quick recap, although there’s not much we didn’t cover before. The 2014 Range Rover Sport comes in four trim levels - SE, HSE, HSE Dynamic and Autobiography Dynamic – and a choice of three engines - TDV6 and SDV6 3.0-litre diesel units and supercharged 5.0-litre V8 petrol – although not all engines are available on all trim levels. Equipment levels are decent with even the Range Rover Sport SE getting leather trim, auto lights and wipers, DAB, power tailgate, Stop-Start, Climate, heated front seats, SatNav, air suspension and Terrain Response.
