Holley, Qft 750 Hp Double Pumper, Red Billet Metering Blocks, Street, Strip on 2040-parts.com
Jeannette, Pennsylvania, US
Here we have an all BRAND NEW HP style, QFT 750 squarebore (4150), 4 barrel, double pumper (mechanical secondary) carburetor professionally set up for street and strip use. This is one of my custom builds consisting of a new Quick Fuel Technology aluminum, contoured, HP style main body for maximum flow and enhanced booster signal. It will flow 820 cfm and is dyno-proven to 575 horsepower. This is NOT the cheap Chinese knock-off junk sold under the brand name "Pro Comp". These parts are machined in Bowling Green, Kentucky and are first quality. Please call the number below with any questions or concerns regarding your application. I can set this carburetor up to work best with your combo. I usually have two or more in stock, just email or call the number below for availability. ALSO AVAILABLE WITH BLACK METERING BLOCKS AND INLET FITTINGS. Just let me know when purchasing.
It has been assembled with high-flow .110" needle & seat assemblies, 30cc pumps, #31 squirters with pink #330 racing pump cams, blue non-stick bowl and block gaskets, nylon bowl screw gaskets, and vent baffle. The jetting is 72 up front with a 6.5" Hg high-flow power valve, and 82 in the rear with the power valve circuit blocked. The mounting gaskets are included as shown.
Here's a list of features;
New QFT polished lightweight aluminum main body with screw-in air bleeds. .070" idle and .030" high speed bleeds installed.
New red anodized billet aluminum metering blocks that are custom calibrated for maximum performance.
4 corner idle for fine tuning your idle circuit.
New heavy duty cast aluminum baseplate that is much stronger than a stock Holley piece.
New teflon coated throttle shafts, stainless steel throttle blades, and loctited button-head screws for increased flow due to decreased turbulence.
New lightweight aluminum racing style fuel bowls with sight windows that will not yellow. No more fumbling with sight plugs!
Red anodized inlet fittings. Uses a standard Holley model 4150, inverted flare fuel line with 5/8"-18 flare nut.
This carburetor weighs just over 7-1/2 lbs., while a typical cast zinc carb weighs in at 11 to 13 lbs.
Please email or call me at my shop with any questions, as I will be glad to help you with your setup. I can be reached at 724-523-2947 from 9 am 'til 7 pm, eastern standard time for tech or service help.
I welcome all potential bidders to check my feedback. My feedback from carburetor and parts sales is 100%, and I've sold hundreds in the past few years. I am the owner/operator of a one-man shop and my carbs are built with pride one at a time. Please see my other auctions for more great deals.
Thanks, Steve

Thu, 29 Jul 2010The Zonda R setting a record lap at the Nurburgring Back in April we reported that Ferrari were claiming a Nurburgring record for the 599xx. This made-up-by-Ferrari record was for the fastest time round the Nurburgring by a road based car, or so Ferrari claimed. Of course, they were wrong on so many levels, despite the 599xx setting a cracking time of 6m 58.16s.

BMW M3 engine shown
Fri, 23 Mar 2007By Ben Barry Motor Industry 23 March 2007 01:18 BMW has revealed detailed specs on the all-new 4.0-litre V8 that’s soon to be slotted into the all-new M3. Power is confirmed at 420bhp with 295lb ft peak torque available from 3000 to 7000rpm. The engine – made at the same foundry as the BMW Sauber F1 team’s V8 and derived from the same architecture as the M5 and M6 V10 – looks set to dispel any fears M purists may have had that the M3 would be transformed into a nose heavy, slow revving behemoth.
