Used OEM Inner engine cases taken from a super clean 1986 Honda TRX250R. These do have some damage. The piston came apart and scarred the insides some, see pics. The lower case saver mount is broken off, and the sprocket has rubbed the case some, see pics. Also, looks like the area around where the output shaft is may have been JB welded. I cannot confirm this, if they did JB weld it, they did a good job hiding it. There is also a small chunk of the case missing on the left front case, where the motor mount bolt goes through, see pics. These are being sold AS-IS, no returns. Comes exactly as shown. The Bush administration has decided to punt its promised decision on new fuel economy standards to the Obama administration. In a statement this morning, the U.S. Department of Transportation said it will not issue final rules for fuel economy standards for the 2011-15 model years as planned.

Chrysler to build ZF's eight-speed transmission in Indiana

The Chrysler Group plans to spend $300 million to build a new eight-speed automatic transmission licensed from ZF Group, a transmission maker headquartered in Friedrichshafen, Germany. The investment will pay for installation of special tooling and equipment at Chrysler's Transmission Plant 1 and Kokomo Casting Plant in Indiana and help retain 1,200 jobs there, Chrysler said Wednesday. Production will start in 2013.
