This is a complete, running, recently-rebuilt CR85 engine.

The motor came out of a 1998 CR80, but EVERYTHING except the cases were replaced w/ brand new OEM Honda CR85 parts including the whole gearbox, clutch, crankshaft, rod, cylinder, piston, bearings, etc. so this is basically a fresh CR85 engine.  It was built by a renowned local engine builder (can provide details upon purchase) and cost me over $1200, of course a huge chunk of that in new OEM parts.

This was built to go into a GP chassis bike to race in GP85 races but due to a wrist injury I had to abandon the project after breaking in the engine (2.5 hours).

Nothing was modified on the motor and it is ready to go into any CR80/85 chassis, but since it is a complete motor it can be used for any application you'd like.

The original Keihin carburetor was rebuilt at the same time as the motor.

Comes with complete throttle assembly, clutch cable and lever, OEM ignition module, Nology Hotwires spark plug cable, and kick starter.  The motor DOES come with stator and flywheel; it has been drained, so just add fluids and you're ready to go.

Please see the pictures for all the parts it comes with.

Taking a huge loss on this but I need to let this go.  I do also have a Pro Circuit pipe that can go with this, see my other auction.

Note that the shipping option is ONLY for shipping to the lower 48 states.  If you need it shipped elsewhere, contact me before buying.

Hennessey Venom F5 (2016): is this really a 290mph supercar?

Thu, 07 Aug 2014

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 07 August 2014 10:16 Meet the Hennessey Venom F5, the extreme supercar successor to the Venom GT. And the US manufacturer has bold ambitions for the Venom F5 - it claims 290mph could be on the cards. While we’re of the view that the race to the top is largely academic (anything over 200mph is as good as impossible, even on derestricted autobahns), it’s still an eye-grabbing headline.
