Ford puts the 2012 Focus ST through its paces

Ford product gurus are hard at work flogging prototypes of the 2012 Focus ST on challenging roads around the world in preparation of the hot hatch's launch next year. The car debuted in concept guise at the Paris motor show and is the halo of the new Ford Focus lineup, packing 246 hp from a turbocharged four-cylinder EcoBoost engine paired with a six-speed manual. Ford released shots of the Focus ST in light camouflage today as it tries to build momentum for the sporty addition to its small-car lineup.

Hyundai today showed off the new i10 city car - one of the most popular small cars in the UK during last year's scrappage incentive scheme. As well as a cosmetic pick-me-up, the new 2011 Hyundai i10 gains a pair of new engines with stop-start tech for emissions nudging just under the magic 100g/km CO2 mark.  The Hyundai i10 Blue emits 99g/km of carbon dioxide, and the Koreans claim it's the cheapest five-seat car on the market to hit sub 100g/km. Hummer HX concept previews H4

Fresh out of the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, designers David Rojas (he created the blue concept), Min Young Kang (the red and black creation) and Robert Jablonski (the grey car) were assigned to create a vision of Hummer's off-road future, creating a smaller, lighter and more agile junior Hummer. So who was actually in charge of these fledglings?
