This is a set of shiny plastic Red Maier Mfg. front fender and rear fender for a Honda TRX250 Fourtrax Utility Quad (years 85-87). The front fender extensions are included.

These fenders are factory blems direct from the Maier-Mfg. factory. The blem is light rub marks from shipping and/or stacking. There is also a slight ripple line in the plastic from the manufacturing process that goes across the front fender. It is hard to see even in person and would not show up in the picture. There is also a slight shade difference between the front and rear fenders.  There may also be other minor surface imperfections that would not show up in a picture.

In some cases, stock mounting hardware is used to mount the fenders. In cases, where the stock hardware does not work, new mounting hardware is provided with fenders.

Williams & Renault back together in F1

Tue, 05 Jul 2011

Williams Renault F1 - Sir Frank Williams and Renaultsport's Bernard Rey For those of us who enjoy F1 (on the whole – although races like Canada rather than Valencia, it as to be said) but are very slightly past the first flush of youth, it’s rather sad to see Williams languishing in the ranks of also-rans on this year’s grid. With one of the greatest race-brains in Sir Frank Williams, and still one of the best F1 drivers in Rubens Barrichello, it would be great to see Williams at least running with the second tier of cars. But this season so far they have amassed just 4 points.

Porsche Cajun – the ‘Baby’ Porsche Cayenne

Mon, 27 Sep 2010

Porsche Cajun - the baby Porsche Cayenne It seems like the car world has been predicting a ‘baby’ Porsche Cayenne ever since the original stepped on to the world stage in 2003. The baby Cayenne has long been dubbed ‘Roxster’, but it appears it will in fact be the Porsche Cajun. VW boss Martin Winterkorn – who by default is now Porsche’s boss – has been giving Der Spiegel the benefit of his thoughts on all things car, and in particular all things VW.

Rated: self-braking cars that avoid a crash

Wed, 30 Oct 2013

The most recent advance in vehicle safety has to be the autonomous emergency braking system (AEB) – a sophisticated suite of sensors and electronics that monitors objects in front of your car, automatically applying the brakes for you if it senses you’re heading to hit something. Up until now these auto-brake features have not been rated, but ahead of a new 2014 test that will include AEB systems in its overall safety star scoring, Euro NCAP has put the some of the vehicles already equipped with this technology through their paces. MSN Cars has the results.
