The cup is lockable with the included locking, torque handle to help prevent theft. Reduces side-to-side and fore-to-aft movement of your coach. Designed as stabilizers for 5th wheel trailers with a king pin height of 38-1/2in to 50in. Easy to use with a simple, but effective, chain system that links and locks tripod legs to the proper height. These stabilizers work in conjunction with your coach’s supporting jacks and are not intended to support the full weight of your coach. Their maximum vertical load rating is 5,000 lbs. In an age when we’re use to car makers extending their ranges on an almost daily basis, Renault are going the opposite way by cutting four models from their range of cars in the UK. Out will go the Wind Roadster, the Espace, the Modus, the Kangoo and even the car that most would think of as one of Renault’s best selling models – the Laguna.
Drayson Racing aiming for Electric car World Land Speed Record
Thu, 30 May 2013The Drayson B12 69/EV – heading to RAF Elvington to break the EV land speed record. One of the best uses for electric car technology is to deliver copious amounts of instant torque for track cars – far more than an ICE engine manages – and Drayson Racing Technology is aiming to prove how much that electric power can help by taking its Drayson B12 69/EV to RAF Elvington on 25th June to attempt to break the land speed record for an EV. That record – 175mph – has stood since 1975 (which probably shows how little EV technology has really moved on in the last 40 years), but the low-drag version of the Drayson electric Le Mans prototype is aiming to break that down the 1.86 mile runway at Elvington.
