Up for auction is one chrome-plated wheel removed from a 2007 Jeep Commander Overland edition.  I would rate this wheel a 7 out of 10.  Some corrosion and marks on the lip of the rim from wheel weights.  Some cracking present in the chrome finish around the center hub.  No pitting or gouges.  See pictures.  Straight and true with no warping or bends.  Great for a daily driver replacement or full-size spare.  Note: no center cap(s), valve stem(s), TPMS, tire(s), lug nut(s) are included - wheel as pictured ONLY.  Contact me with questions.

The Italian supercar maker claims to have drawn on inspiration from the fashion world in order to create the latest interior and exterior colours. The Gallardo Spyder (centre) is painted in Marrone Apus, a colour Lambo describes as ‘halfway between brown and black’, but there is a golden reflection due to a special pigment in the paint.

Orphan Car Show highlights long-gone classics

Wed, 13 Oct 2010

Marvelous as it is a setting for car shows, Riverside Park in Ypsilanti, Mich., does present a risk: The park is built in the floodplain of the Huron River. When organizers showed up to stage this year's Orphan Car Show--the nation's largest to feature cars built by companies that no longer do business in America--on June 6, they found the judging stand underwater. An impromptu “show” throughout nearby Depot Town and at the host Miller Motors Hudson/Ypsilanti Automotive Heritage Museum wasn't quite the same thing.
