this is the power trim and tilt system from a 1985 Johnson 115hp V4 outboard

i am the original owner of the engine and it was very well taken care of.
it smoked a piston 2 years ago and i decided to re-power instead of rebuild.

the entire trim system is included. the control/ relay box, the trim gauge sending unit and all the wiring. (everything in the pics)
this system will fit most Johnson or Evinrude V4's made between 1980 and 1990 and i believe others as well
you should be able to reference the model number from my warranty card picture to make sure it will fit yours

i never had any issues with the unit and it was working perfectly right up to when i took it off the boat.

Mini at the Salone del Mobile, Milan

Wed, 13 Apr 2011

Mini is using this year's Salone del Mobile in Milan to showcase its 'flair for design.' As with previous years, Mini will be using sites at Milan's Università degli Studi and the Triennale Design Museum for its installations that highlight the brand's 'Creative Use of Space' philosophy. The running theme between the two works is the progression of the brand, from its roots, through to the future of mobility. The Università degli Studi instillation is entitled 'Mini Sintesi' and was initiated by Italian design magazine INTERNI under the watchful eye of Gilda Bojardi.

The Future Role of the Vehicle Designer

Fri, 14 May 2010

The vehicle design department at the Royal College of Art hosted the second in a series of five lectures looking at the future of the profession last week. Moving on from the previous week's topic of sustainability, this debate explored the future roles and responsibilities of the vehicle designer. Head of department Dale Harrow began by posing the question "Is it time to rethink – do we still need the car?" Although still relevant, Harrow's ultimate answer to this was that the profession was about to see marked change, with the end to an era where "designers are locked behind closed doors in studios".
