Rear 2 way adjustable Piggyback series shock unit, 13.13 inch long shock length (eye-to-eye) with heavy duty 5/8 inch diameter hard chromed high tensile steel shaft with powdercoated blue Single-Rate-Spring Set. The shock has spring pre-load adjustment standard to adjust rider sag. This shock has external compression damping adjustment on the piggyback web (speed or rate the shock compresses under a specific load). The rebound damping is set internally at the factory.

The shock length is designed for the 2000-2001 KX65.  This shock is 13.13 inches long (eye-to-clevis), which is the stock shock length for Kawasaki KX65, 2000 and 2001.  The 2002-2012 KX65 uses a 13.75 inch shock.  The shock will work on a 2002-2012 KX65, but the seat height will be about 1" lower.

I purchased this shock in 2013 and we only used it a couple of times on the bike.  My son has now moved on to another bike.

We used this shock on a 2006 KX65.  As mentioned, for this year KX65 (2002-2012 KX65 bikes), this shock will lowers the seat height about 1".  I also lowered the front fork tubes in the triple clamps a bit.  This combination, lowered the bike, which allowed my son to be more comfortable on it.

The Works Performance shock was a big improvement over the stock KX65 shock.  The external compression damping adjustment comes in real handy in adjusting the stiffness (compression) of the shock.

The shock is in very good used condition.

The shock sells new for $500+

2013 Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible: First Photos

Mon, 24 Dec 2012

We have the first photos of the 2013 Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible ahead of a reveal at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show. Bentley hasn’t done the official reveal for the GT Sports Convertible yet, so all we have are the first photos in all their purpleness (although the DVLA thinks this particular Bentley is black). Under the skin we expect the same W12 with 616bhp and 590lb/ft of torque which is enough, certainly in the tin-top GT Speed, to get the monster Bentley to 62mph in 4.2 seconds and on to 205mph.

Russo-Baltique Impression

Wed, 03 May 2006

One hundred years since its conception, the Russo-Baltique brand has been resurrected for a show car at Villa d'Este Concours d'Elegance. Once the maker of cars for Russia's Royal Court, the country's Revolution suspended Russo-Baltique's activities after the First World War, only restored in 2003 when work on the new Impression began. The car aims to demonstrate a high level of quality, using materials such as Zebrano, an African wood, to trim the interior.
