Manson Supreme Galvanized Anchor, 100lb., 55' to 70' Boat Length
Length, 42-1/4" L x 21'W x 22" H

A fast-setting, high-holding “scoop style” anchor for all sea bottoms

These Lloyd’s Register Super High Holding Power (SHHP) approved anchors set immediately, digging in fast to provide peace of mind in crowded anchorages. The world’s only New Zealand made anchor provides excellent performance in a variety of seabeds.

Lloyd’s Register Type Approval illustrates the highest possible certification an anchor can receive. Both the anchor and manufacturing process must undergo stringent reviews and tests by Naval Architects and Surveyors including rigorous seabed testing. Approval means this anchor exceeds all current certification codes for quality, performance, craftsmanship, and most of all safety.

Built from certified high tensile steel by certified welders, this “scoop” style anchor uses a roll bar to self-right instead of a heavily weighted tip. This ensures weight can be distributed to the load-bearing fluke for increased surface area and a much greater holding power. The sharp spear point digs right in to almost every seabed type, penetrating deeply and setting immediately. The dual operation shank has two slots for easy retrieval in different seabed conditions: long slot for rock and coral; short slot for most day-to-day anchoring. Designed to fit most standard bow roller fittings and to be self-launching.

  • Style: Fixed shank “scoop”
  • Material: High tensile hot-dipped galvanized or 316 satin finish stainless steel; Shank: Bisalloy 80 for extreme strength under load
  • Application: Most bottom types
  • Pros: Narrow shank profiule for deep penetration, wide fluke and chisel tip for high holding power, sets easily from bow roller, roll bar for self-righting and resets
  • Cons: More expensive than fluke anchors; comparable in price with plow style anchors
  • Warranty: Lifetime parts and workmanship
