This auction is for a clean used GM S 15995247 & 15724078 S 4L60E transmission external manual linkage shifter cable bracket and linkage arm. I am downsizing into a sole proprietorship after almost 33 years in the transmission industry, freeing up a bunch of odds and ends,"gizmos & gadgets" that I've held on over the years. Hopefully these pieces will help in your restoration(s) or projects. This "hard-to-find" is the manual linkage cable bracket that bolts to the driver's side of the case and retains the shifter cable mechanism. These end up attatched to the cable, and never show up bolted to the transmission; so finding this one was unusual. I am also including the "matching" shifter lever/arm that bolts to the transmission. I want to say they may have come off a Camaro or Firebird 4L60E core unit. I'm sure you will find this pair to fit various GM models. Please research that this works on your vehicle before you bid! The bracket and lever/arm are as shown, no extra's. They are pretty clean examples.....unbox and assemble! I will be listing more parts,so please check my other auctions. Please know that the item that you are bidding on is the one you need! I'm more than happy to answer ALL questions. Predominantly these parts are used, unless noted, with possible minor wear and possible oxidation spots, but are 100% serviceable pieces,as I would not sell what I would not use! Shipping is based on regular USPS delivery schedules. If you are urgent for the part, please understand the shipping costs will change accordingly to your choices of quicker delivery. If you make multi purchases I am happy to combine shipping to save you $$$! PLEASE CONTACT ME IF YOU HAVE A LOW FEEDBACK COUNT before bidding. This is a NO reserve auction,so please bid away! Buyer is to pay within 3 days of the end of this auction. U.S.A Buyer's should also include $ 6.80 towards shipping costs. Worldwide buyers, please contact me ahead of time to see if I will ship to your country and the different shipping options and/or costs. I can not be held accountable for any customs issues! Feel secure that all items will be securely packaged. We have tons of experience! Thanks for your understanding as well as your bid!

One Lap of the Web: Cumberbatch on Hamilton and Blue Ovals that never were

Thu, 29 May 2014

-- The Internet's greatest man-crush of the moment, next to boyish rogue Tom Hiddleston, is the aristocratically named and occasionally cross-dressing Benedict Cumberbatch. But the "Sherlock" star (not "Doctor Who," as the un-nerdy announcers mistakenly trumpet) has a dark secret: he's actually a Formula One fan who interviewed Lewis Hamilton at the podium at Malaysia. Bonus points for Nico Rosberg chucking a mike around like it's a hacky sack.

The Focus ST & Jaguar XFR play Sweeney at Goodwood FoS The new Ford Focus ST and the 2012 Jaguar XFR are to take to the Goodwood hillclimb to recreate the Sweeney car chase. It’s been the ‘launch’ of the 2012 Goodwood Festival of Speed this week, so we’ve has bits of information floating in, like the Mercedes cars- ancient and modern – making an outing, the new Bentley V8 blatting up the hillclimb and the Jaguar XFR getting the prize for the ‘Most Spirited Getaway’ at the start of the hillclimb. But one little outing caught our eye – the re-creation of the scenes from the new Sweeney film with the Jaguar XFR and the new Focus ST.

New World Record is not child’s play

Wed, 14 May 2014

THE NATIONAL MOTOR MUSEUM is celebrating its success in setting a new World Record for the longest line of toy cars. To achieve the record, the museum gathered 24,189 model cars and laid them bumper to bumper to create an unbroken line that stretched for 1910-metres. Snaking its way around the museum’s grounds, the line of toy cars more than trumped the previous record of 14,310 toy cars.
