I have available for sale a set of safety lug nuts.

I believe these a McGuard, they are chromed and they are in good shape. No splines are rounded or chipped, the wrenches are in good shape.

The centering bottom collar for these is cone shaped, making them suitable for after market wheels. These particular ones have worked very well, with Linea Corse wheels.

This package could in fact secure two cars, because not only do you get 5x4 lug nuts with matching wrench, with outer splines, you also get 4 more, which have a top "cam" style lock, with a separate and different matching wrench..

You could choose to either provide an extra layer of safety, such as if you have real expensive wheels and want to secure them with a system that needs two wrenches to remove all the lugs, or you may want the ultimate balance and having all lug nuts of the same weight and use only the splined ones and use the cam lock ones on a different vehicle.

There is no warranty, the sale is final, there are no returns.

Subaru Impreza WRX STi at Tokyo

Thu, 25 Oct 2007

By Jonny Smith Motor Shows 25 October 2007 04:21 Hang on, I thought the Impreza had got even uglier? In non-WRX form it is a despicably hideous beast but this is the STi and it looks cooking. Ok so it's no longer a super saloon but a hyper five-door hatch, which means Subaru has jumped straight into the ring with VW (Golf), Audi (S3) and Ford (ST) and many others.

GM Europe weeks from running out of cash

Tue, 03 Mar 2009

By Phil McNamara Motor Industry 03 March 2009 19:03 GM Europe will run out of cash ‘early in the second quarter’ of 2009, unless the divison secures $3.3bn in funding from European governments. Speaking today (Tuesday 3 March), GM chief operating officer Fritz Henderson revealed that insolvency loomed, due to the plunge in European car sales and GM’s liquidity crisis in North America. He ruled out a swift cash injection from private investors, saying that no talks had taken place and that lengthy negotiations and due diligence would take too long.
