This is the CD changer pulled from my 1993 300CE Mercedes-Benz last summer (2012).  It was removed because I switched to different technology and no longer needed a CD changer.  There are two parts here, one of which is the changer, and other -- about a 7" x 3" x  1" unit mounted on top of the changer -- of which I am uncertain.  The changer has these numbers on it:  "A 002 820 42 89" and "Model No. MC3194."  The smaller unit has these number on it:  "002 820 3289" and "Model No. MX3192."  The CD magazine is included, and is inside of the changer.  Cables remain attached.

2015 Ford Mustang spy photos revealed

Tue, 20 Aug 2013

No doubt Ford's biggest news next year is the new 2015 Mustang, launched to help the Blue Oval celebrate the pony car's 50th anniversary. Today we're getting our best look yet at the face of the next Mustang. There are significant changes afoot: We've been reporting for months the new car could look more like the Evos concept car Ford showed at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show.

The 525bhp Mercedes E63 AMG gets blatted round the Brooklands track in the video below When you produce a mid sized saloon car with a great big 6.2 litre V8 you can be pretty sure that when journalists get the chance to play they’re going to be a little exuberant with your car. So why not get in first? That seems to be Mercedes thinking with the video they’ve produced of the E63 AMG strutting its stuff at a soaking wet Brooklands track.

Dinner with Bob Lutz: Looking back at nearly 50 years in the car business

Tue, 27 Apr 2010

Bob Lutz is retiring--again. He has tried this twice before: at Chrysler in 1998 and with his abortive exit from General Motors last year. But this time, at age 78, it may stick, even for the car guy who has operated at the industry's highest levels since the early 1970s.
