Porsche Cayman (2013) first official photos of 981
Wed, 28 Nov 2012One of our favourite Porsches on sale is being replaced – and this is it: the new 2013 Porsche Cayman. Essentially a tin-top coupe Boxster, the new 981-series Cayman was unveiled today in the fitting location of Los Angeles. It's the Mk2 Cayman, after 2005's original first spawned a Boxster coupe for the sub-911 masses.
New small Jaguar (Jaguar XS) caught on video at Nurburgring
Tue, 06 Aug 2013The new small Jaguar pictured testing at the Nurburgring. A replacement for the un-loved Jaguar X-type has been on Jaguar’s ‘To Do’ sheet for some time, but a new small Jaguar is now finally on the way, although it is still probably more than a year away from hitting Jaguar showrooms. But a year or so is no time in terms of new car development, so Jaguar are already out playing with prototypes of the new small Jaguar – perhaps the Jaguar XS – although they’re wearing slightly unconvincing XF clothes.
Porsche Panamera Convertible coming
Fri, 09 Oct 2009Porsche are planning a 2 door Panamera Convertible That new Porsche 928 now looks an even more likely possibility after Automotive News reported that Porsche are looking to make a convertible Panamera. But it won’t be a four door convertible, but a two door. The report says that is to help with rigidity (we buy that) and to keep weight down (yeah, just like they have on the saloon), but what it does mean is that Porsche could easily engineer a fixed-roof, shortened Panamera to create a high-end GT in the style of the 928.
