I purchased a Baja that was brought to me for repair from impact damage. The insurance company deemed it a total loss on account of the hull & sterndrive damage, so I bought it back from the Insurance company. I am parting it out. This ad is for the engine. The engine runs very well. Hours are unknown because there is no hour meter, and besides, hour meters are meaningless because they can be unplugged and also rack up hours if the key was accidentally left in the "on" position. EFI motors can be plugged in to computer diagnostics to view engine hour information, but this is carbureted. Anyway, it runs very well, I have had it running and inspected everything. I will run it for anyone interested. The engine is a Gen+ (Gen 6 with roller tappets) and is rated at 330 horsepower at the propeller. It is fully dressed and complete. Turn key. Drop in and go. I also have a video of the engine running. Thank you - Adrien at In Tune Marine, LLC in Gloversville, NY. I have wooden engine crates built by Mercury Marine I can use to ship the engine. Shipping must be arranged and paid for by the purchaser. I have a fork truck and can lift the crated engine into a carrier's trailer. Message me to make arrangements.
