Buick revives Regal name for upcoming sedan

Buick confirmed on Wednesday that it's resurrecting the Regal nameplate for its next midsize sedan. Additional details weren't announced, but the car is expected to arrive on the market next year or in 2011. Though the Regal name has been mothballed for about six years, Buick says it remains one of the brand's most recognizable.

Fiat unveiled two new versions of its popular 500L in its home market a couple months ago, the 500L Living and 500L Trekking editions, both designed for different audiences. While the 500L Trekking will have adventure in mind, offering a taller ride height and protective bumpers, the 500L Living will be an ideal car for young families. The poll also named Norfolk-based Lotus as the most popular British manufacturer, with seven of its models making the 100 best British cars list. Following the Mini at the top of the list was the McLaren F1, with the Jaguar E-type third and the Range Rover fourth.
