Offered for your consideration is an ORIGINAL, Smiths speedometer, correct for early MGB's from 1965 through 1967. This is an original gauge, specific to the early, MGB model, not a generic, one size fits all, modern repro. Jaeger/Smiths part # RVI 2401/00.
This instrument has been fully reconditioned and will look & function as a new, original unit would be expected to.

PLEASE NOTE!!!: This auction is predicated upon my receiving a CORRECT and COMPLETE rebuildable core in exchange. Guage face and lettering must be in good condition. A nominal fee will apply for damaged/missing chrome bezel & glass. Two years ago we were reporting on the number of road safety partnerships switching off their speed cameras – now the Highways Agency has revealed a new system that will offer more cost-effective motorway monitoring. Though officially called Hadsec3 – Highways Agency digital enforcement camera system – the mainstream national press has already dubbed the new speed cameras ‘stealth cameras’, on the basis that they are small and grey, rather than bright yellow.
