    LORRIES without safety equipment to protect cyclists and pedestrians are to be banned from travelling through London, it has been announced. Transport for London (TfL) and local authorities have joined forces to agree a new traffic regulation which will come into force by the end of the year. The proposed ban will require every vehicle over 3.5 tonnes to be fitted with sideguards to protect cyclists from being dragged under wheels, as well as mirrors to improve a driver's view of cyclists and pedestrians.

But when we got wind yesterday that the tease was for the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento we almost forgave Lamborghini for driving us nuts with a daft and boring tease.

    Should we be thinking of the new Jaguar F-Type as a bargain alternative to an Aston Martin V8 & V12 Vantage rather than a pricey Porsche Cayman? With a starting point of £58.5k for the F-Type with the 340PS V6 Supercharged engine, rising to £80k for the F-Type V8 S, we thought prices were strong. But actually, after a week of cogitation and argument at Cars UK Towers, we wonder if they’re actually something of a bargain?
