This is an old British bike dual-carb throttle twist grip.  For 7/8" handlebars. Original unrestored condition.  It will fit Triumph, Norton, BSA, Ariel, Sunbeam, Ducati (Italian, I know), or anything that has 7/8" handlebars and dual carbs.  Yeah, you can buy new aftermarket throttles, but this is the real deal, and is still good enough to use on your classic!  Pulled from a BSA Lightning.  Probably should put a new "Titty-grip" (you know which grip I mean) on it for that correct look and feel.  I almost kept this for my Norton Commando ('70 Roadster - owned it since '71), yeah I'm that old...  Can't beat the price for an original piece!

As part of its centennial celebration, Chevy asked fans to vote online for their favorite vehicle from the marque's 100-year history. Nearly 125,000 people voted, and the Camaro edged out the 1970 Chevelle SS in the final round of the four-round elimination contest.

FILM FOOTAGE showing the shocking consequences of motorists not slowing down or paying attention when driving through roadworks has been released by the Highways Agency. One bit of film shows a lorry overturning, while another shows a truck ploughing into the back of a car. The footage prompted a Government minister to warn drivers that "saving a few seconds on your journey is simply not worth it".

One Lap of the Web: Motorcycles in revolt

-- Danny Lyon photographed the Chicago Outlaws at the height of the counterculture: Following the gang on his Triumph, Lyon published his candid, brutal shots in 1968 with the title "The Bikeriders." Vice explains why Lyon's book mattered: He rode with them, documented their personal conversations and ultimately glorified the gang and their "existential struggle to be free." The book is due for re-release by the Aperture Foundation. -- Kim Boyle built this gorgeous custom 1978 BMW R100/7 on a shoestring budget, proving that you can't put a price on talent and taste. The as-yet-unnamed bike wears an old-school BMW roundel and some lovely details, including a headlight screen, a seat from a Ducati Monster and a custom 2-into-1 exhaust welded from 32 pieces of tubing.
