MSD Ignition 8261 Square HVC-2 Coils Coil, HVC Pro Power II, 7 Series Ignitions The HVC-2 coils utilize an iron U-core design with a segmented bobbin for improved voltage distribution. The bobbin is molded from Dupont Rynite FR946 material. That means it has incredible dielectric capabilities at high temperatures. The housing features far-spaced brass primary terminals, and a well-protected secondary tower for increased spark isolation. They're designed for use with MSD 7 Series ignitions.
