NARCO ADF 30 ADF Receiver NR Start at $5 Awhile back we acquired a large amount of avionics from a shop that was going out of business. We will list all of this equipment one lot at a time (about 10 to 20 listing per week) here on eBay over the course of the remainder of the summer and possibly into the Fall. In other words if you don't see anything you are interested this week, please check back!
Please consider all of this AS IS for parts or repair even though some may have been checked or refurbished at one time according to the service tags. We do not have the knowledge or equipment to check or certify any of these items in anyway. We will leave all service tags in place the way we found them if they are present.

Tue, 30 Jan 2007Michelin Challenge Design, one of the world's fastest growing transportation design programs, has announced it will continue its focus on safety in 2008 under the central theme of 'Safety over Size.' The 2008 theme was announced at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, where the Michelin Challenge Design exhibit showcased works from vehicle manufacturers, students, as well as the first full-size concept to be submitted by an independent entrant. Rising energy costs, urban congestion and environmental concerns are all contributing to an increased interest in smaller vehicles, but consumers are often hesitant to consider smaller vehicles due to safety concerns that are both real and perceived. Participating designers are encouraged to 'throw away the book' and to present ideas that enhance the real and perceived safety and security of smaller vehicles through design innovations in areas such as accident avoidance, enhanced driver controls, survivability and visibility.

Though thankfully easier to get to than that, what you get is a bit different to expectations. Thu, 26 Apr 2012Ferrari has issued video of its new HY-KERS hybrid system bound for the new Enzo successor due later in 2012. It mates a V12 petrol engine with a brace of electric motors - one to drive the car's ancillary systems like cooling and power assistance, and the larger one to drive the rear wheels. This teaser video doesn't give away any incredible performance figures, but it does afford a glimpse into Maranello's thinking for its new hypercar.
