USED set of BME, Bill Miller Engineering, race pistons for the Chevy engine with SB2.2 cylinder heads. These fit in a 4.154 bore, 4.147 skirt size, 1.360 comp. height, they use .927 x 2.950 wrist pins, locks included. Rings are .043 top, .043 2nd, 3mm oil, 1 piston is missing the rings, they have been gas ported and weigh 509 grams with a -.040 dish, only run 385 miles at Louden from RCR Nascar team

Ford once planned to race fiberglass-bodied Mustang touring cars

Tucked away on page nine of the May 9, 1964 issue of Competition Press and Autoweek is an intriguing little story: “FIA Rejects Ford Bid for Homolgation [sic].” At the time, the Mustang had just made its world debut, but Ford was already scheming to fold the car into its “Total Performance” campaign. The automaker apparently proposed to do so with a fleet of crazy fiberglass-bodied touring cars. According to Competition Press, Ford tried to get the new Mustang classified as a touring car for international racing.

Detroit Electric, Geely to develop fleet EVs for China

Geely Automobile Group and startup electric automaker Detroit Electric Inc. have agreed to develop electric vehicles and electric drivetrains for sale in China. Under the deal, the first EV will be a modified version of Geely's Emgrand EC7, which will go on sale early next year.
