Toyota, Nissan shift gears and boost incentives

A day after announcing that its North American factories would be cranking up production sooner than expected, Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A. unveiled a series of regional cash, interest-rate, and lease incentives on most of its vehicles. Nissan Motor Co.

G-Wiz maker Reva announce new electric cars

The Reva NXR - one of two new electric cars Reva re bringing to Frankfurt Reva plan on introducing two new cars at the Frankfurt Motor Show next month. The first is the Reva NXR, which is a three-door, four seat family hatchback scheduled to launch in 2010. The second is a sporty, targa-topped two-seater – the Reva NXG – that won’t go in to production until 2011.

GM recalls ATS, XTS and Impala for brake lamp fix

Cadillac's 2013 ATS and 2013 XTS and the 2014 Chevrolet Impala are being recalled by General Motors because of a potential problem with the brake lamps. The National Highway Traffic Safety Association reports that the brake lamps may "intermittently flash without the brakes being applied, and the cruise control may disengage." The report states this could cause a crash if the following driver isn't warned to adjust vehicle speed. The recall impacts 1,627 copies of the sedans, and comes just two months after the new Chevy Impalas began rolling off production lines.
